Documents Required for VoA Application

You will require the following documents to support your application for the Cambodian VoA and fulfil your Cambodia visa on arrival requirements:

  • A passport that will remain valid for six months or twenty-four weeks after you leave the country's borders.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs, clicked against a white background and with clear features.
  • A physically scanned copy of your Cambodia eArrival form
  • Hotel accommodation and financial strength documents that showcase where you’re staying and have the necessary finances to support your stay
  • A travel itinerary, provided by your travel agency
  • Flight tickets to either your next destination or your home country
  • A letter of invitation from the business company or organization based in Cambodia, along with a letter from your business organization stating that you can carry out a negotiation on their behalf.

Do remember to also carry some American dollars, as the immigration officials will only accept payment for the visa in dollars.

How to Apply for a VoA in Cambodia

You can apply for a Cambodian Visa on Arrival in the following manner:

First, you have to visit the relevant kiosk or counter at the airport or border crossing gate and stand in line.

Second, you will have to showcase the scanned copy of your Cambodian eArrival form to receive the physical Visa on Arrival form.

Third, you should hand over your documents to the immigration or border crossing official and wait until they verify them. If your documents are invalid, you will be told to leave the Country’s borders immediately.

Fourth, you should fill in all the details on the form accurately, like your name, country of origin, and date of birth. Remember to cross-check all your information before handing in your form.

Fifth, you will have to pay the required fee in American dollars.

After the transaction is complete, you will be legally allowed to enter Cambodia.

Where Can You Apply For a VoA?

You can apply for the Cambodia Visa on Arrival at the border crossings of:

Vietnam: Samrong International Check Point, Tropieng Phlong International Check Point, and Kha Orm Sam Nor International Check Point.

Laos: Dong Krolar International Check Point.

Thailand: Anlong Veng International Checkpoint, Osmach International Checkpoint, and Prum International Checkpoint.

The following airports also issue the Cambodian Visa on Arrival:

  • Phnom Penh International Airport
  • Siem Reap International Airport

The following seaports issue the Cambodian VoA:

  • Phnom Penh
  • Kampong Cham
  • Sihanoukville

Processing Time
